MARYLAND 2021 TAX DEADLINE EXTENDED 3 MONTHS

 

Maryland residents will have an additional three months this year to file state income tax returns and make payments, Comptroller Peter Franchot announced in January 2022.

 

The filing deadline for 2021 state individual income tax returns will be Friday, July 15, instead of April 18, to help taxpayers facing financial difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic.    The federal tax filing deadline is still in April 2022.
