REALTOR® Party of Baltimore
We are an energized alliance of REALTORS® and Affiliates working together with common goals to:
- Promote and protect homeownership and property investment,
- Advance candidates and public policies that benefit the real estate industry,
- Lend our ‘in the trenches” expertise as a resource to those who are crafting or modifying legislation that affects real estate,
- Assist in building strong communities and a vibrant business environment in and around Baltimore!
Now more than ever it is critical for REALTORS® across our region to band together and speak with one informed voice about the stability a sound and dynamic real estate market brings to local economy. From town halls to the U.S. Capitol, our elected officials are making decisions that have a constant impact on the bottom line of REALTORS® and their clients.
The REALTOR® Party is effective at all levels of government because of its grassroots strength. That strength is exhibited in advocacy as well as community involvement. The REALTOR® Party works hand in hand with the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). Through the support of GBBR members like you, the REALTOR® Party of Baltimore represents your interests!
What is RPAC?
Since 1969, the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has provided a conduit of support across local, state, and federal jurisdictions, across party lines and policy platforms, to political candidates who value the vitality of the real estate industry. RPAC helps to ensure that REALTORS® and affiliated practitioners in our marketplace have a voice in the legislative arena, and have the attention of our elected officials, and that our message is heard. RPAC is a practical and potent approach in politicking; it works to elevate and protect a REALTOR®’s fair access to do business, AND works to preserve the rights of the private property owners they serve.
The funds gathered to accomplish this mission is generated from voluntary contributions made by REALTOR® members and affiliate members. RPAC investments are not the same as association membership dues, and RPAC monies do not buy votes. RPAC is one of many tools that members can rely on, to further their profession and livelihood.
