MD REAL ESTATE COMMISSION LICENSEE DOCUMENTATION

Effective October 1, 2024, all Maryland Real Estate Licensees MUST have their documented continuing education requirements met, 30 days PRIOR to their license renewal date.  This is a statewide mandate from the Department of Labor Licensing & Regulation. If a licensee falls short of this mandate, a $168 will be imposed from DLLR.  We will continue to send reminders on this important change, but we do recommend that you set up reminder protocols on your business calendars!

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® UPDATES CE CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP

New REALTOR® Members entering membership are now required to complete 2 CE hours of Fair Housing/Anti-Bias Training course  upon becoming a member, and every 3 years thereafter, coinciding with the Code of Ethics training timeline.  This Fair Housing/Anti-Bias Training course is in addition to the required Code of Ethics course, as mandated by NAR.  This requirement began January 1, 2025 with a deadline of December 31, 2027.  Please understand that this mandate is a NAR membership requirement, NOT a Maryland Real Estate Commission license renewal requirement.
